A Referral!!

Hi Everyone. I posted a while back and stated that I had a drs appt last friday. I didnt go...I was having anxiety attacks something terrible that day...so i rescheduled. I went today and my dr was very open to it. He has referred me to University of Iowa. I should be getting a packet of stuff in the mail with in the next few days. Has anyone had anyone at U of I do their surgery? Just curious how the process went. Especially with Title 19. Now I wish I would have talked to him about more extensive the first time I saw him. We talked about the risks...some of the tests I needed to go thru...and how its not a fix-all...I informed him of all the research I had done...and he was impressed with how much I knew about it.... I will keep you posted....I got over one hurdle today...now my next hurdle is getting insurance approval.... Billie Jo
