Gonna have a perky butt!!!
You have me figured out. I'll do anything to get out of feeding them. I'm thinking maybe I'll have to borrow Dan! He can feed them for me.
Still won't get the belly button pierced. No one would get to see it. Can you imagine an old lady like me running around Tripoli with her bellyshowing? I'd be the talk of the town. "Did you see that Blasberg hussy? She's running around with her belly button exposed." "Oh, didn't you hear, she had a tummy tuck!" "Just wait, next year she'll be fat again." "What do you mean, next year, I hear she had gained 50 lbs already! You knw that surgery doesn't work."
Yep, better keep my belly button under wraps. Never know what the neighbors will be saying.
Dixie"
Dixie, congratulations!!
I agree with Jane, though...... my first thought was "she'll do anything to get out of those farm chores!!"
My goodness, August isn't that far away, either......
You mentioned your hubby thought you could help pick up rocks. I presume out of a field? I did that too, about a month ago. My sister is 'doing' her yard with rocks and one day while I was at the folks' me and the dog walked out through the field picking up rocks for her. I made several trips. Told her she owes me......
Going to try to get to the meeting Monday night. I work Sundays and Mondays at midnight so Monday eve's are like early morning for me.
take care
Sheila
You & Jane just know me too well. Yep, I figure another 6 weeks without feeding calves. And wouldn't you know it, September is the start of our busy calving season. Then I'll have to figure out a way to avoid it again.
PIcking up rocks is a regular springtime job on our farm. They just keep coming up to the surface & you'd be surprised what damage a fist sized rock can do to a combine in the fall. So they take a tractor out & fill the bucket with rocks, driving back & forth across the field. When my kids were small they always thought it was funny when town people would stop & ask permission to take rocks from the rock piles. Now they usually just tell them they can take all the rocks they want but they have to find them in the field first. And I'd like some good sized boulders in my flowerbeds, but do you think I can get anyone to bring some up for me?
Hope to see you Monday Night. Using your reasoning, Monday evening is my lunch hour. I take a few hours off from work to go to support group and then go back.
Dixie.
