Talking to the Dr. Again...

I finally bit the bullet and called the dr today and made an appointment.

I went about a month and a half ago and he told me he wanted me to see a nutritionist first to see how that went. I dont want to wait any longer than I have to. I am going to go talk to him about getting the surgery and tell him that if he wont recommend me that I will find someone who will......I am so ready to do this!

Billie Jo, It is always good to advocate for yourself. Have you documented the amount of time that you have worked with a nutritionist? It may be helpful when it comes time to apply for insurance coverage. Be sure that the doctor has notes on it as well. Hang in there and let us know how it goes. God bless, Andrea

Yes.....keep us updated......Good luck to you too!!! Sometimes we gotta do what we gotta do.....I knew my PCP at the time wouldn't reccomend it...I went out on my own and got it taken care of!!! Hopefully your PCP will come around some!!! Take Care and Best of luck
