Hi everyone, I hope I can get some suggestions on good sources of protein that arent full of carbs and calories...by the way, I am 2 months out and have no problems eating anything...but I just dont seem to be loosing the weight. I also walk 1/2 hour a day, trying for an hour a day. Thanks in advance, Nancy

How much are you losing? I think we all feel at some point or another that the weight won't ever come off!!! How much are you eating at a time? Are you getting 64 or more ounces of water a day? Now for good sources of low calorie protein......Chicken, shrimp, cottage cheese, protein shakes (I know debbie and samueal don't care for shakes, but there are good ones out there)tuna is another good one. Are you snacking? Eggs are good.....If you can tolerate them......Let us know a litlle more about your menu for the day and maybe we can help ya more....or just drive over that big bridge and come to my house Take Care Jesi

lol.... your something...hehehe! about loosing, since surgery I have probally lost 25 lbs. and 9 of those were in the 1st 9 days. I eat probally 1/2 to 3/4 cup a meal, depending on the type of food...salad seems never ending, I can eat a whole salad from BK or Mc Donalds. As for water, I try, Ive been trying to do better. Snacks..sometimes I will have a protein bar, if I know I'm on the low side for the day and maybe popcorn in the evening, but thats only a few times a week. As for what I ate today, I had Breakfast-1 pc whole wheat toast with 2T PButter Lunch- 1/2 cup beef stew with carrots and potatoes supper-1/2 egg salad sandwich with a slice of cheese, & 1/4 cup refried beans with cheese on top 3-8 oz glasses of skim milk 64oz water thanks, Nancy
