Anyone else have tailbone problems? Mine is so sore that I can barely sit. My internist says it's because I have a boney butt. That's one of the best compliments I've had! Painful, to good.

yes, i have...but its something I have had for years. I went to the dr about it...and I was told that it is a type or arthritis. There is a joint in your posterior pelvic bone that spreads when you are preggie. Its not uncommon to get arthritis in that joint. Mine started after I was preggie with my kids. Of course...yours could be something totally different..but if you already have arthritis of some sort that could be a very good possibility. I dont remember what type of arthritis it was......but i have had it for years now..about 12 or so. Sitting on a hard chair with no padding does hurt......but i have gotten so use to it I dont even notice it anymore! LOL. Probably because i have sooo much more padding back there now than what I did 12 yrs ago....LOL That is my tailbone problem.......like I said...yours could be just because you have a bony butt...and is that bad? Morning Lyn, We must be the boney butt sisters! Are you like me & moving from side to side trying to get comfy? like you have hemorriods?! That's the way I have to sit most times. Florida was the longest trip! Couldn't get comfy at all ended up putting a blankie under the butt for some padding! Ohhhhhhh but a wonderful feeling when I look back at that fat butt & all the padding that was there a year ago! Hugs Carolyn

Yes!!! I thought it was just me. My tailbone hurts so bad at times it's difficult to get up off a chair. I have found if I take notice of my posture and sit straighter it helps. Too many years of slumping forward has taken it's toll.
