Surgery Thursday

Been living in NE Iowa for 3 years - Mayo is the closest hospital to me that does the surgery and will be having the surgery there this Thursday. I hope that you will keep me in your prayers. My husband is Iowan born and Iowa bred and when he dies he will be buried here - so I guess I will be here for the rest of my life also. Will write more when I am post-op.

My prayers will go with you next Thursday. I have heard so many good things about the surgery program at Mayo. I know you'll be in good hands. I read your profile. You've had a very interesting life & such a difficult journey to this surgery, to say the least. I'll be anxious to hear how everything goes. Good luck & God speed. Dixie

Thankl you Dixie - yes wonderful program at Mayo - few hitches along the way which have been disappointing to say the least, but can't let it get you down. I look forward to being on the losing side.

Thank you for your kind thoughts and support. Yes Mayo is a great place and has given me great care so far. Yes my life has been interesting. I put the details there to be of encouragement to others but to myself when I want to quit afterwards or regret having this done or whatever you go through post op that people talk about.
