South Beach Diet
Hello Iowa ~~ aren't you glad it's Friday???? I'd like to know from anyone of you who are further out (I'm 13 mo) if you've tried South Beach. I'm doing phase I (started this week) and so far so good. Not eating any carbs is really hard tho!!! I've reaaaallllyy upped my water and CL so am getting extra exercise running to the bathroom also.
I've been really stuck lately and am looking for that extra boost. I don't do any supplements as I get plenty of protein from regular food. I'm also tracking all that on fitday. My calories seem to be ranging from 1100 to 1300 daily.
Also, do you know if you can do too much water/CL?
Anyway ~~ just looking for some opinions and or suggestions for SB.
My short term goal is to get to 160 by Monday (my birthday -- the big 45!! UUGGHH)

I have been thinking about the south beach stuff......I am in the same boat as you it looks like weight wise.....my body really likes the 160's for some reason.....I get into the 150's for a day and then right back....it sucks being so close to goal, because our bodys seem to make us fight for every pound!!!! Know you are not alone....I was thinking about going back to basics and doing more protein shakes and less food.....I don't know
also I hope that with summer almost here my exercising will improve and that will help too!!! I will wish you luck....do the same for me please
