I am going to try to post the link to the Genesis website that shows the article that was in the paper on Friday. Obviously, the picture of all of us is not included. Enjoy........... (I hope this works, because I am only partly computer literate!) http://www.genesishealth.com/news/2005/bariatric_100.aspx Here goes nothing..... God bless, Andrea

Andrea - great article - thanks for sharing. 144 lbs is so awesome. Can you really run 4 miles???? I'm so jealous. I don't think I'm cut out for running, but I have become somewhat of a gym rat!! Who would have thunk??? Hope we can get together with some of you east coast girls this summer. Janie

Jane, Thanks for the kudos. No, I can't really run 4 miles - well, maybe I could jog them because we do do a lot of jogging and running during cross training class. Last night, I think that we jogged/sprinted and power walked for about 25 minutes. Anyway, the reporter that wrote the article embellished something that I told him. I told him that I always have a new exercise challenge and that last year, my challenge was a local race. I said that I COMPLETED the 4 mile Moonlight Chase race in Eldridge and that who knows, the Bix might be my next challenge. Anyway, then he writes that I can run 4 miles. Not quite because I walked the whole race except for the last part when my hubby and teenager were clapping and cheering me on and telling me to run. Anyway, I know what you mean about being a gym rat - that's me, too. Never would have believed that I could do it. Can't wait till I am out of school - will have to try to plan a get-together this summer! God bless, Andrea
