It's darn right COLD

Hello, I have some friends who have a 5 year old, who don't have a place to live, well, they do, but needs new roof. So they are sleeping in tents. Well, the 5 year old begged and begged me to stay the night last night. It was darn right cold. I have never camped in a tent. That was something else. I'm not quite sure what I'll say tonight. It's supposed to be 15 degrees warmer than last night. Woke up this morning, with the 5 year old crying about 5 times. I ended up finally waking up at 5 and getting my shoes on and going to my apartment to take a hot bath and get ready for school. Last day of my finals. Thank goodness. I couldn't believe it, I had a pair of jeans in my car trunk and I also was wearing my sweatpants. I went and put my jeans on and then put my sweats on over them, couldn't believe it still fit with everything. And a sweatshirt and my jean jacket. Can't wait until it really warms up. I had a good time, and didn't have to do any studying, I'm ready for this last test. Wish me luck. I'm going to the car and taking a nap, I have a 5 1/2 hour wait until test time. WHat a great freind you are to stay when it was so cold. I am sorry to hear that anyone is having to stay in tents during this cold weather or anytime. Good luck on your tests today I am sure you will do fine. But I will be praying for you all the same. Cindy G.
