Walking tapes/music
Help, I'm looking for some inspiration . . .
I've heard lots of people talk about I think it's Leslie Sandstones walking tapes. Can somebody tell me what they're like? And, what's the difference between them because I've heard there are several?
Does anyone have any favorite music for walking (or to actually make me want to jog)? I've been listening to Guns & Roses, or Boston . I'm giving away my age . . . Any new ideas - I'm getting bored with them. (I like country, but it doesn't fire me up enough to really get moving.)
Janie ;)
I really like my walk away the pounds exercise tapes with Leslee Sandstone but if you are trying to get motivated to jog, they probably won't be intense enough for you. They are very simplistic and easy to do. I do them because I am lazy and don't want to have to work too hard learning complicated steps, etc. I have two sets of 3 work out tapes and I much prefer the set that they are wearing the pink clothes. (the other set I have, they wear blue clothes) There really isn't much difference in them except I prefer the other people in the pink ones. The tapes are simplistic enough that my 8 yr old daughter likes to do them with me.
One suggestion for tapes to listen to while walking are books on tape. I don't know that it will motivate you to jog but it is a nice change of pace to the music. I suggest checking them out at the library though because they are expensive to buy.
