Hey Andrea, Been a while since I posted goals.... Last week was OK, nothing major, slow weight loss, etc.. Then Friday hit and I think I got the flu or something-practically couldn't leave the bathroom, I had the scoots so bad. So Fri night and Sat were not so great. Sunday my tummy was still cramping so I drank more than I ate. Got to work Monday and weighed in. Lost 4.5 lbs over the weekend. Small wonder! Oh well, that much closer to goal. So close now to being below 200#, I can taste it (current wt 209.5#). Goals for this week: Get back to walking regularly (weather hasn't been very nice) Investigate more protien choices Make good choices when dining out My car is an SUV. I drive a light Gold Ford Expedition 2001 model. I love it ,love it, love it!!!!! I hate the fact that it eats me up in gas every week but I forget that feeling as soon as I get back in the driver's seat. Yes the insurance isn't cheap and the payments not too bad. But the room I have in it makes up for it. It seats 8 and there is 5 in the family so it makes it convenient going places hauling extra kids or the in-laws around. My "empty nest" dream car is a new model Mustang Convertible for putzing around in in the summer. For the colder months I choose a Ford Escape Hybrid. Not too big, but will get me thru the snow, and save $$ on the gas. Did the minivan thing for a couple of years but much more comfortable in an SUV. Sherri

Hi Sherri, Look at you, girl, almost under 200#! It will happen before you know it! Sure hope that you are feeling better now. Being sick is certainly not a fun way to lose weight! I like your goals - especially the one about protein choices. I have been looking at those as well. I don't really eat many meats, and mainly live off of cheesesticks. They are getting expensive so need to try to make myself eat different things, I suppose. Remember, when exercising, you can do some things in the house even when it's not nice enough to walk outside. How about one of those walking away the pounds DVD's or a Richard Simmon's Sweatin' to the Oldies? My kids even love to do that one with me - we usually end up just running around the living room and playing - but it's activity! I agree with the SUV over the mini-van. I guess that I didn't mention that I live in a little town outside of Davenport, so I do need 4 wheel drive in the winter - sometimes. I guess that justifies the increased insurance and gas costs. Plus, my Durango seats 7. Well, have a great rest of the week. God bless, Andrea
