Hey, Janet, so glad to finally hear from you. Are things truly going well? Remember, I'm here for ya if you need me - just a phone call away! About gaining a few pounds - is that maybe the point that your body is comfortable? I have a friend who had surgery, lost a lot but has since put some back on. She took off a couple pounds of that, but now is trying to maintain because it's where her body feels comfortable. Me? I'll never get under 175, I'm sure. Oh well. What size are you in now? An Explorer - I couldn't do it. Just isn't my kinda vehicle (personal issues...). Well, glad that you stopped by to say "hi". Keep in touch. God bless, Andrea

Hi Laurie, Didn't see you at the support group meeting last week. Hope that everything is going okay. How much are you walking now? Are you feeling okay since the surgery? When can you go back to Curves? Has the doctor released you for that? Well, have a great week. God bless, Andrea

Hello and so nice to see your smiling face!! Sorry I didn't call last night....I am still super tired tho and enjoyed laying on the couch doing nothing last night I will try and give you a buzz tonight after 7ish! All my gilrs are in school today, so I am going to do bills and housework....we kinda just threw all of our luggage in the basement and made a big ole' mess......now I need to put everything away! I did really well on vacation and didn't gain any weight But I wanna lose these last 12lbs something terrible so I am going to try and really work on it from here.......I am going back to journaling what I eat and stuff! I will try exercising too I am such a bum when it comes to that!!! Other than that lots of pills and water!!! You know me, I hate shopping for clothes......the sizes are hard for me right now.....I have a big upper body and I do not like showing my gut......so I tend to get the 14-16 tops but they are too big......if I get a regular xlarge....they are too short! Plus I wear a 10 jean which is too big...but 8s are way to tight around the gut.......dilemas I tell you!!!! But I know it could be A LOT worse!!! Take Care and have a great week!!! Jesi I drive a 2002 Mercury Mountianeer or a 2001 Buick regal and if I have to, my hubbys baby a 1977 ford f150 bright orange

Jes, Hey, girl! No prob about not calling last night. I'm sure that you were exhausted. Listen to you not gaining any weight over vacation - I'm so proud of you!! ....and to have your MIL give you a compliment - wow! I'm sure that you will lose that little bit of weight fast now that you're home. Try to get some exercising in at least 3 days a week for 20 minutes a time then boost it up to 30 minutes then 4 days, etc. You can always do abs and other stuff with the girls, too. They would enjoy it. About those clothes sizes, you don't need those big shirts because you are soooooooo tiny. You don't need long either because your belly isn't that bad - like mine is :-0 Have you tried what I did a couple of times? I have two shirts that are actually maternity tops because they are fitted on the top and loser and longer to cover my hanging gut. It works for me! Just think - ps appointments next week - we may be able to get rid of the guts someday!! By the way, isn't hubby's truck red ? Talk to you tonight after cross training. We should be home by 6:00. God bless, Andrea

Hello Well, I'm now 30. Doesn't feel too bad. Took 10 boxes down to the support group in Grinnell for the clothing exchange. Closet is cleaned out (at mom's). I now have a fitness trainer at the "Y", I'm loving it. I'm doing leg presses, ab crunches, and 3 other ones, don't remember. I drive a 2000 Chevrolet Impala, Maroon with 189,000 miles, Dad says in another month or so, he'll be getting me a new car, (used new car). He doesn't like to keep anything over 200,000 miles. It's been a good car. My surgeon, Dr. Eibes, is moving to Iowa Methodist in Des Moines. So I will transfer support groups. He won't start until July or August he says. But he is still saying he still wants to do my tummy tuck. So I'm excited. Goals: Walk Drink more water study hard (next week is final week) organize apartment again (I think that's an everyday job). Gotta get to class Take Care everybody Love ya like family Lisa Young

Lisa, Wow - 30 is not really that bad! I've been 30-something for about 7 years now and am enjoying life to the fullest. 10 boxes of clothes is quite a lot. Did you get some new clothes from the exchange? I hope so. Can't believe that you have a car with that many miles on it. Your dad must keep it well maintained. When are you looking into a tummy tuck? Keep us posted about that. Looking forward to hearing you get good grades on your finals. Study hard. God bless, Andrea

Goals are to keep exercising - we have a new wellness center that I just love and have been going every morning. Also, cut down on snacking. Nightime is terrible for me. And make sure to get my water in. I've been drinking tons of coffee because of getting up so early in the am. I have one year dr visit next week and am praying it's all okay. I still have 15 lbs to my dr goal and it seems they won't budge. Am driving a 93 T-bird (marroon). My previous car was my favorite (red 89 Camaro)!! Would love to have it back. Arrest me red is true!!! I'd really like to drive an '05 Mustang (and my 10 y/o son would think he had died and gone to heaven if I did.)!!! If I were truly buying it would probably be an SUV of some type. Janie

Hi, Janie! Wow - only 15 pounds from goal is wonderful. I'm sure that you will have those nicked in no time at all. Keep up the good work going to the wellness center. We have the same issues with night eating and the coffee. I didn't use to like coffee, but now I love it and drink 1/2 pot usually every morning. Can't use the cheap stuff either, has to be the expensive flavored coffee. The night eating - well, I have given in a little to that and then will see how I do, but if I start to lose control, will have to reel myself back in. Because of those issues, I have to keep the red light foods out of my house, or I'll lose control of those. Dang addictive behaviors!!! Well, get tha****er in this week and keep dreaming of that Mustang! God bless, Andrea
