Hi everyone! I had my surgery 4/4/05 I'm at a loss for ideas on what to cook. They have moved me to soft foods, cassaroles (sp?) ground meat. Does anyone have any links or ideas for menus or cookbooks after surgery? Let me know. Thanks Nicole

I just bought a really nice cookbook from Amazon called "Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery: Over 140 Delicious Low-Fat, High-Protein Recipes to Enjoy in the Weeks, Months and Years after Surgery" It has some really good recipes & what I liked was it gave the protein count of each as well as how much & how you should eat each recipe depending on which surgery you had & how far out you are. It also wasn't very expensive, $11.53. There is also a recipe board here that has some pretty good recipes. You can find it at http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/member-interests/cooking_baking/ I'm not always sure how good some of the recipes are for you but if you use your head, you'll find something that should work.
