Iowa City Support Group?

Does anyone here know if there is a support group in Iowa City or Coralville? I have attended the one in Cedar Rapids at Mercy, and it is a great group. However would like to find one in Iowa City area. If there is not one that anyone knows of, would people be interested in forming one? I am sure we could get a place to meet and have different programs each month. ANy insight is appreciated. Thanks.

Kyle, The only support group I know of is one that I have attended a few time in Washington. It's about an hour away from me. Great group of people tho. Haven't heard of anything in Iowa City area. Best of luck.. Tracie

We have a support group in Washington that meets the first Monday of the month at 6:30. You are welcome to come to it if you can. We have a variety of people. It has been very helpful to me to have the group. We meet at the County Hospital in the board room just right of the entrance doors. Please come and see us sometime. Cindy

There is supposed to be a support group starting via the University of Iowa this summer but I don't know much about it. When I was at my last appointment in February, they mentioned it to me, I will return there in May so I will have to scope it out! Tamara
