support group in Davenport?

I am almost two years out and beginning to feel that I am getting off track. Is there a support group here in the Davenport area.

Hello and welcome! Yes there are a few support groups in Davenport/surrounding areas. Gensis has an awesome support group that meets every third Wed of the month....it is an evening meeting and always has great info, with lots of wonderful folks there! I know there are a couple over the river too for trinity....but I have no details on those! Where did you have you surgery and how has everything gone? I had my surgery at UIHC but go to the genesis support group.....I am only 16 months out down almost 140lbs but it is harder the farther out we get.....it is way to easy to get comfy and start in with the bad habits....I find the support groups very helpful.....BUT I also find these boards amazing too.....You might also wanna stick around here reading and posting........Feel free to email me with any questions......I can read some old emails and get the number to Genesis for ya and the exact meeting dates and addresses. Gloria, Hello - so sorry that I didn't respond sooner - life gets busy around here! Jesi is right - the support group offered by Genesis is wonderful. It is in one of the office buildings outside of Genesis East (previously known as St. Lukes). I attend regularly as well - usually with Jesi. Believe me - we both struggle with getting off track and use each other as well as this board for support. The phone number for the Genesis Center for Bariatric Surgery is 563-421-8361. Theresa Fraker is the nurse manager and will know the ins and outs of the meetings. Terri Pool is the secretary that keeps the place running. (I think she should be back - she was on vacation for awhile.) If you call, tell them that Andrea and Jesi sent you their way and they will probably just giggle! Also, if you give them your e-mail, they can send you a flyer with all of the meeting dates and locations. I'm sure that Jesi has that flyer as well - and I do too (I just don't get on my home computer too often). Anyway, hope to see you there. E-mail anytime if I can be of further help!
