Hi- I'm new...

my name is Jennifer. I have just started to participate in the message board. I am currently working to get approved for lap-band WLS. I wanted to introduce myself since I have been reading about all of you lately. BTW- my good friend Nicole Danielson has posted a couple of times and had her sugery today. She is doing great and I am sure she would appreciate your thoughts as she is working on her recovery. Thanks, Jennifer

Welcome Jennifer you are at the right place for information and support! I hope everything goes good for you with getting everything in order for your surgery. Is the lap band the procedure where they go in every 6 months or so and instill air to make the band tight again? OR am I thinking of something totally different?
