I need to have a psych evaluation....

I just moved to the Cedar Rapids area and I am not familiar with the Doctors around here. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I should see for the psychological evaluation?

Hi Shea what I did was I looked in the yellow pages and I tried to find some near me and I called to see if they do the psych eval for weight loss surgery and if they said yes I set up an appointment with them. Good Luck. Lavonda

I had a tough time finding anyone taking new patients, but I did get in with someone at Dr. Wilharm's office (I think his name was Couser?) at 396-1066. Good luck!

Dr. Wellso at the Cedar Center. He's old and he stinks but he approves you. He's who Dr. Keating referred a lot of patients to when he was doing WLS. I believe that the only thing he does now is psych evals for WLS patients. That have it to a science. 365-3993.
