Irish Blessing
Hi Everyone!
Well, it's that time of the year that I actually celebrate my heritage. Both of my parents were of full-blooded Irish ancestry. My father was first generation born in the U.S. and my mother was second generation.
Even though today is traditionally celebrated by the Irish, take some time out today to celebrate LIFE...we ALL deserve that.
~~IRISH BLESSING~~
May the roads rise
to meet you,
May the winds
be always at your back,
May the sun shine
warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again
May God hold you
in the hollow of His hand.
Have a wonderful and safe day!
~~Sherry

I am not Irish, but we celebrated St. Pattys day this morning also! Now that my kids are attending Catholic school, it is important to them! Somehow one of those sneeky leprachauns got into the house last night and left gold coins (choclate) scattered everywhere and a pot of gold (sidewalk chalk) on the table!!! Then there was a green breakfast everyone woke up too.....green eggs and ham, green milk, and green toast (not mold, tinted the butter ) They were so happy and couldn't wait to tell all of there friends about the leprecahun visit It was neat and something easy to celebrate year after year......I love starting new traditions!!! You blessing is beautiful!! Have a great day also Jesi
P.S. are you wearing green today??
Top of the morning to ya!! I am mostly Irish and Czech so I am celebrating today! I love the Irish Blessing...my mom still has her Irish wedding band and she only wears it today to honor her mom and dad. It used to be a special day for their family.
Have a wonderful St. Patty's Day everyone and please be safe while celebrating
Hugs,
jen
