Garage/Yard sales in your area...

Hi Everyone! I was wondering if you could e-mail me the dates of any garage and/or yard sales in your area...especially ones that are advertising baby items? We were not planning (yet, we are ecstatic about it!) on having another child; and, I either gave EVERYTHING baby-related away and/or freecycled them. So, I need everything from a baby swing, to a bassinette, to a crib, to a walker, to baby clothes...well, you get the idea... I would really appreciate your help with this! Sherry, Independence is having city-wide sales in April (I think maybe the 16th), but I can find out. Also, there is a consignment shop downtown that always seems to have a lot of baby stuff sitting out. Janie

Morning Sherry How well I know the feeling! There was 14 years between the twins & Katie, dr's said I couldn't get pg again! I had given everything away & had to start anew. My best friend's daughter is also expecting so I'm watching for things for them also, so will keep my eyes open for you. We know she is having a boy so easy to shop for her. We have a place where people donate clothes, furniture etc & it's free to us. Will be taking stuff up there next week for my kids so will take a look for you. Take care Hugs Carolyn

Good morning Carolyn! I was told that I would never have children...period...and, here I am with a third pregnancy. The first was with my son, Joshua and the second was ectopic (twins)...I had no plans to have another one...though, I had HOPED I would someday. Thought I was getting too old for another baby (35)...heck, I only have one fallopian tube and ovary left following the ectopic and didn't even have a clue as to what month I ovulated, since with only one ovary, you ovulate every other month. It's definitely a miracle in my eyes. If you could keep an eye out for me, too, that would be fantastic!! It's WAY too early yet to know what I am having. So, anything neutral would be fantastic! Don't know how far it would be for you, but I live in Mediapolis. Southeast Iowa, 15 miles north of Burlington. In early May, we have city-wide garage sales. Usually 60-75 sales!!
