HELP dsm PCP needed!!!

Finally approved , and my date is set for 4/4/05. My testing needs to be done 7-10 days prior to surgery. My current PCP doesn't know about the surgery, is not supportive, and is not very knowledgeable about wls. My surgery is being done in Omaha. I'm just wondering if any has a good, knowledgeable, and supportive pcp in the dsm area? Please help. Thanks Nicole

Hi I lived in Des Moines for 4 years, and went to Dr. Hood. (who is with Mercy in Ankeny). I am her first patient to have the gastric bypass surgery done. I guess what I'm trying to say is try Mercy clinics. Good luck to you. I had mine in Grinnell, with Dr. Eibes. Take Care Lisa Young

My PCP is DR. Maria Mitchell On E Eculid. Highland Park Clinic Her # is 262 0404. She has had 32 peopel have the Surgery. She is really Nice. Good Luck!!
