Well, it's been 9 days since my TT & today Dr Bastug removed my two drains & the stitches around my belly button. I feel human again! I have almost no pain but realize how much this has taken out of me. I went shopping a bit before my appointment & hoped to meet my sister for an early supper but was just too exhausted so came home. If I am on my feet too much I get a really bad backache. I suspect that my posture is not what it should be. Those who have had TTs probably know what I mean. For several days you tend to lean forward when walking, much like an old person. I still am not totally upright. I need to work on that I think. I'm now in my jammies & plan to spend the evening on the recliner. I feel much better already and still have not regretted having the TT. It's so nice to not have that tire around my belly. Dixie

Morning Dixie, I'm so happy for you Getting those tubes out has to be such a relief. Looking forward (am I crazy?!) to the day I can have a tuck done. Take care of yourself & get plenty of rest. Speedy recovery to you. Hugs Carolyn

Cool It is nice getting some first hand info when we are looking into this! How where the drains by the crotch.....that just seems like the most crazy place to have them, kinda in the way! I had one JP drain after my surgery for almost two weeks.....I loved having it out, felt so much better!!! Have a great day Jesi
