In Need Of Some Input :-(

I'm in need of some input or help I called yo set up my Psych Eval & they cant accept Iowa Title 19 they said it was out of thier network,So I called the Dr & told her & she gave me another person & they said the same,So I called the Drs Office back & left a message,Yesterday she told me I might have to find my own person....So What do I do Janelle

I don't really know where Red Oak is. I know that there are 2 Dr.s in Cedar Falls that Dr. Glas**** recommends. Dr. Targoff or Dr. Raju 319-268-1922 and 319-234-2671 respectively. I went to the Cedar Center in Cedar Rapids and saw Dr. Wellso, 319-365-3993. I don't have T19 but I'm almost positive all of the Dr.'s accept it. You may want to try. I hope this helps~ jen

Try your county Mental Health Center. Usually one is affilliated with them.

Hi Janelle! Many psychs accept Medicaid...I had it too for WLS and pre-op testing. I saw Dr. Martin Edwards in Cedar Falls (very homey environment...works out of his own home actually) and not far from Sartori either. He wrote his pro-WLS recommendation for me right there and then, after having a slightly over one hour consultation. Per Medicaid...you do not need to take the MMPI test...only have a consultation with a psych doctor and attain a letter that you understand the implications and life-altering changes that must be made to be successful...now, and in the future.
