I GOT APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!

I JUST GOT OFF THE PHONE WITH BCBS AND GUESS WHO HAS BEEN APPROVED FOR SURGERY?!?!?! Me! Oh I started crying when she told me!!!!!!!

I am so happy!!! I called my husband first, of course, but then called Angie and Rebecca at Dr. G's office to tell them. They weren't there but the lady I spoke to said that they had to see it in writing, of course. But I was just so damn happy! They said if I have my surgery from 3/8/05-9/8/05, it will be covered. Oh yeah!!!!!

Here's me doing my dance cause I'm gonna be on the losing side REAL SOON! I only have 3 pre-op tests left: EKG, Bloodwork and ultrasound. I owe nothing to Covenent so I don't have to worry about that. I DO have to worry about coming up with the 80% of my max out of pocket though. Right now it's at $788!!! I have NO credit cards or savings so I'm kinda stuck but darnit - I got through the first obstacle!!! Whoo hoo!!!! Just had to share this wonderful news with all of you! Thank you for being there for me!!!!

I am so not worthy!!!

Isn't that an incredible feeling to know that it's really going to happen?!!! As far as the money, can you take out a small bank loan, or borrow from a friend, or family?? Best of luck, keep us posted!!! DeeAnn R

Like you said, you got through the tough part, the money part is easier than fighting with insurance.....Can you count on income tax returns? And the lady said you had until September....so put it off a month or two and pinch, pinch, pinch! Again congrats........Take Care

Yeah - sure did spend our tax refund on bills! That would have been perfect but I really needed to catch our house payment up. Kinda important!!!

I have one option: asking my grandma to borrow the money. I hate to do it but she can put it on her credit card and I can pay her monthly. I'll keep you updated. Thanks chica!!!
