Overwhelmed with support & emails

For everyone who has emailed me & posted the past few days since the article came out THANK YOU SO MUCH! Yesterday I logged in to find 16 messages, private emails & postings & was so overwhelmed I sat here & cried. Logged in later in the day had about that many again & same this morning. So for everyone that has emailed me & posted thank you from the bottom of my heart. It was such an honor to be chosen for the story, I couldn't believe how big the story was! My phone has been ringing off the hook from local's also with big support to. I spent the greater part of yesterday on the phone didn't get much done! I did forward some of the earlier emails on to the editor Anne. I know there were a couple of you that emailed & said you had also contacted her. Thank you for doing that. She has set up an email Q&A & will be forwarding those on to me today which I have to get back to her by tomorrow I believe. I agreed to do the story for positive reasons, I am so tired of hearing the negative about WLS. Yes, we all know the risks, but ANY surgery is a risk. WLS has had such bad publicity & I wanted positive out there. I thought Jennifer put together a very nice story with other background not just the focus on me. When she first contacted me I laid it on the line that this would be a story on positive NO NEGATIVE involved. By doing the story I was hoping if it helped just one person it was well worth the time. Katie's story runs tomorrow, I apologize for the post that said Monday that was my understanding. Anxious to see her story as well. Katie also interviewed with Obesity Magazine on childhood obesity. Not sure if she will be in the magazine or not, but she was excited to be picked. Again thank each & every one of you that have written to me.
