1 year anniversary with wls today

I went to my 1 year appointment this morning and it went so well. I have lost over 100% of my body weight. I weighed a couple pounds heavier on their scale but I have lost 158 pounds- by my scale lost 161 pounds. I have lost a total of 94 inches. My life has changed for the positive in so many ways from this surgery. I have said it before and I will say it again I would do it over again in a heart beat! I felt so sad today at my appointment over not going back again til a year. They have been such an awesome support system for me. Especially Angela. Anyway I will try to make the support meetings if they fall on my night off. I am wearing a size 8 now it is unreal! My labs nothing was low or high everything was right on track. I was worried about my Iron due to I don't take it everyday because it has been upsetting my stomach. So I am trying Slow FE now it is easier on the stomach. My protein was right on target. So like I told Angie I have to supplement with protein drinks due to I cannot eat enough to maintain the total of protein I need. Anyway I wish everyone with upcoming surgeries the best of luck. Kim

Oh my gosh, Kimberly! That loss is awesome!!!! You are obviously doing very well! Do you exercise? Do you just control things with eating? I am finding food issues popping up the further out from surgery that I get. It's still a fight to eat right. However, I exercise all of the time and actually can't stand it if I miss it a day or two. You are an inspiration to us all! Congrats and God bless, Andrea
