OOPS 2/21 Roll call and goals

Hey, sorry to hear about the 4 lbs. Are they gone again yet? Could it be water retention? Have you been eating things with more salt lately? Have you been drinking enough water? The only thing that I can advise with the Atkins is to watch the calorie count on them. Even if they are s/f, there are probably still calories in them. I do a protein drink every day. I used to have 3 daily and add milk with it, but now just 1 day and water because of the extra calories. Is there a reason that you are going to have 3 cans a day?

Hi Andrea,
Slowly coming off, need to take off another 2 lbs to be where I was a week ago. Not sure if it's water retention, not doing anything out of the oridinary except for walking. I'm really not getting in my calories or protein for the day like I should so that's why I thought I should drink the Atkins. I'm just drinking one a day so maybe that's helped take off a couple of pounds. At my 6 mo checkup dr wanted me to consume 1600-1800 calories per day. Now at 10 mo out I'm wondering if that's way to much?
Know one thing I'm anxious for spring & getting that bike out of the shed. Thanks for your support, I'll see you in the 170's no doubt about it. You keep up the good work.

Hello everyone my week was terrible I been sick with sinus affection just now getting better alittle had to go to the Drs my goals this week are get healthy and ready for my surgey go to curves 3 days this week drink more water. when it gets warm out I want to start walking and do spring clean up. everyone have a good week

Hiya Andrea...I understand how busy you are, doesn't seem like there is enough time in a day to get everything done anymore! Iam feeling much better, seems the effexor is helping with the support of my hubby, family and friends! And of course I don't know what I would do w/o you guys!
Iam maintaining at 130# right now. My eating is getting better finally! I need to start exercising again so when it warms up that is one of my goals for spring. Also I need to get busy with graduation stuff, including spring cleaning UGH!

Hey - so glad that you are feeling better, Janet!!! I still need to call you again. Glad to hear that your hubby, friends and family are supporting you, too. Wow, 130 lbs - wouldn't know what to do. Be sure to get that exercising in - it makes for some good endorphins!
Have you gotten senior pictures taken yet? I did and they were expensive, but oh so fun. I think that I bought most of them for myself. Now, spring cleaning - is that really a necessity??? YUKKKKK!!! I have a hard enough time going through the daily/weekly chores.

I love to snack in front of the TV, I have a hard time making good choices when I am up watching a movie and everyone else in the house is asleep. Old habits die hard. I was a closet eater before. (technical term?) I would eat when nobody else was around to see me do it. I am much better now about rejecting snacks but I still really want them.
This weeks goals.
Go thru my dresser, make room for new clothes
Up my liquid intake
Continue to exercise on treadmill 4 x /wk.
The first warm day of spring I plan to open up those windows, hang my laundry out on the line to dry. seems like these are the two things I look forward to most about spring.

I thought I did pretty good last week with eating but my scales don't show it, unfortunately. I have noticed that my legs look smaller & when I exercise they feel so nice & tight.
My goals for this week is to keep abiding by the rules & maybe drink more water. I also intend to give my house a good cleaning as I won't be able to do much of that for the next 6 weeks while recovering from my TT. I also need to get some meals cooked & put in the freezer as my guys are helpless in the kitchen.
I'm still trying to get my laptop networked with the desktop. I plan to have my notebook in the bedroom so I can keep posting. I can get online with it, just can't communicate with the other computer.
I am tired of winter like everyone else but as a farmer's wife I sometimes dread spring. It gets so busy then with getting ground worked up, seeding, picking up rock, cultivating. I don't know how they ever get it done.

Sorry I haven't posted this week. Been one of those weeks where I feel like crap. Not sure what is going on. I am tired and not up to my old self. I am extremely tired. I think I might be catching what is going around. so I have been taking my vitimans and drinking my protien drinks. I love where i get my drinks cuz I haven't found any of them around here. So my goal this week and next week is to make sure I am where I am suppose to be on my class work. I still loving my classes I think i am only behind in one class so that isn't bad out of six.
The first really nice day out when spring gets here is to go for a long walk outside.
