Just a quick note to let you all know I am still alive. I have lost 6 lbs in the last 10 days. I have ear infection (and a broken ear drum now), sinus infection, and viral pnemonia. I have been on so many drugs (good ones too!!! Kinda make me feel like this! LOL) I could start a pharmacy. Been to the Dr.'s office twice, ER twice, and on the phone with a dr at least once a day everyday for the last 2 weeks. Today I start my 3rd round of antibiotics and home nebulizer treatments every fours hours to try to get the gunk out of my lungs. I have been doing really good on my fluids! All the predinisone, cough syrups, etc, have made me very thirsty. Not good on the protein, cause I am just not hungry and when I am, I just want to grab something quick and get back to the recliner. (can't sleep in bed, feel like I am drowning.) My dogs are really sad because I haven't been able to walk like we want. I tried it one day when everyone left me all alone and with a vehicle. I about fainted in the park because I couldn't catch my breath. I always did have to learn everything the hard way. Hopefully I can keep the weight loss going after I get back on my feet, but I would rather stay this weight, than be this sick again ever! Everyone keep up the great work you are doing! WOW...sounds like my house!! Both of my daughters have been really sick. My 2-year old, Keegan, is a mama's girl and when she's sick, she wants NOTHING to do with anyone else. I kinda love it but then feel guilty because she's so sick!!! My step-daughter has had an ear infection and bronchitis with a little of the diarhea (sp?). Lovely. Take care of yourself and take it easy! My doctor said that when I had strep this year, the best thing to do is push your fluids and really rest. It worked...it still sucked for about a week but it worked. Hang in there!! jen

Congrats on the break, but couldn't you find an easier way to do this? It's the pits. My grandson, 3 yrs old has strep throat daughter in law took him in yesterday. Poor little man is so sick. That's the thing that is going around here, strep & flu. Keep pushing the fluids so you get better. Sorry to hear you are so sick it's so miserable. Get better soon & keep in touch. Hugs Carolyn

((((((((((Elizabeth)))))))))) I thought that you had dropped off the planet. I'm so very sorry that you've been this ill! What a way to lose weight, huh? About the antibiotics...are you on a liquid form? When I had my sinus infection, the pills did me absolutely (two rounds) no good at all...the liquid knocked it right out. I've been meaning to e-mail you...how did your appointment with Dr. Hardy go? It was supposed to be in November, right? I'm sorry that I have been lax about keeping in touch...I'm going to work on that more. I hope that you are feeling much better! HUGE (((Hugs))) ~~Sherry
