Insurance Question

I just recently got divorced and having a hard time finding insurance. They keep dening me because of the gastric bypass surgery. Have any of you had this problem? Where should I go from here? I really don't want to be without insurance. I haven't had a computer for so long (ex got it with divorce) I finally got one. I am amazed at how well all of you are doing.I applaude you. Keep up the good work. I know I slacked of alittle with the divorce, holidays and the weather sucks. But I am starting pilates class next week. I did go to do weights last week 3x and did my 2 miles on the treadmill 4x. Take care, RoseAnn

Hey great to see you around again! Sorry to hear about the divorce, but I know that is what you wanted Hopefully it all works out for you! I have no advice about insurance.....but I hear it can be a pain finding it after surgery.....I hear the easiest way to get it is through an empolyer because they don't do the screening that private insurance does, they just sign ya up. Hi RoseAnn, Sorry that I didn't reply last week, I just now saw your post. Hope that you can find some insurance - maybe through an employer if not independently. I have never heard of anyone not covering a person because of our surgery. That doesn't hardly seem fair - we're probably healthier now than before.
