Hi Judi, You must be a mind reader as I was just discussing this last night. I feel like the skin is at my toes now! Will keep my ears open. BTW found out last night that there is a PS in Sioux City that accepts title 19 for tummy tuck. A friend's daughter works for them & she asked if I was considering tt & said yes but nobody in area accepts title 19 she says yes there is my boss!!!! I'm 30 lbs from goal now, need to kick ass & get rest of it off. Good luck. Carolyn

Hi Judi, When you had your other Plastic surgery, did it affect the way your thighs look? If I remember correctly, you & I started out at about the same weight so I imagine we have similar looking legs now. My plastic surgeon told me the abdominalplasty will lift the thighs somewhat. I have lifted where he said it would be tightened up & there is an improvement, although not as much as I want. One more question, and please don't take this as a criticism, OK? Why did you choose to go to just a surgeon for plastic surgery instead of a board certified PS? I have read several books and articles in anticipation of this step & every one of them says to only go to a board certified plastic surgeon. I know that the surgeons in Grinnell are very good doing the weight loss surgery but since plastic surgery has so much to do with how you look and mistakes can make such a difference in your final appearance, I would be hesitant to have anyone do it who didn't specialize in it.
