My one year anniversary today...

Today marks exactly one year since I had open RNY. As I look back on the past year, it seems to have gone by so quickly...yet, so slowly at the same time. It has been a year full of new discoveries, joys, heartache and sorrow. I also lost my Mom exactly two months ago today...she was my biggest supporter and cheerleader. I wish so badly that she was here to celebrate this day with me in body, even though I know she IS with me in spirit. Over the span of the past year, I have lost 148 pounds, 23.9 BMI points, 101.25 inches and 102.4% of my excess weight...I could not be happier about those stats. Well, I could be...but, I'm not going to complain. My sleep apnea is gone, I do not tire near as easily, I actually have the energy to play and participate in activities with my son...the list goes on. Congrats Sherry! My 1 year anniversary is exactly one month after you. The year seems to have taken forever but yet it has went by so fast. We have yet to meet and I hope as the weather gets nicer we can meet and walk down around the park by the catholic church. I am proud of you and I wish you all the best! I think you look so awesome! Congratulations Sherry! You look great and have done really well inspite of all the problems the past year has sent your way. You have stayed positive and always manage to support others. I only hope that by my one yr anniversary, I have done as well as you!
