1/24 Roll Call and goals
Good morning all,
This is going to be brief because time is very limited today. What are your goals? How did you do towards last weeks goals? I think that I kept it together at least two or three times last week where I felt I had control over my eating in the evening. Got to the gym 5 times and feel great about it. Did not have time to reply to all of your posts last week, but will try to do better this week.
Goals:
1) CONTROL MY EATING ALWAYS!!! (Have peanut butter only once a day or every other day.)
2) 3 meals and 2 controlled snacks daily and nothing more!
3) Get to the gym at least 5 times (going to be tricky because of my schedule this week).
4) Get paperwork done, church stuff, school stuff, home stuff, graduation stuff for my son, etc. and begin working on my independent study class so I can then get to my thesis.
How about you, now? What are your goals?
Off topic question - have you played in the snow yet? I haven't, I've been too busy or am afraid that I will be too cold. Whew, that sure does sound like a bad excuse - think that I need to get out there with my kids and enjoy some quality time with them!
Have a blessed week,
God bless,
Andrea
Hello
Let's see, my goals,
1) GET RID OF MY COLD
2) get a tutor for my PowerPoint class
3) study harder
4) drink more water
5) go through my closet and get rid of clothes
I haven't been outside in the snow yet, I don't want to play outside by myself. (It's not fun)
Gotta get back to homework.
Take care

Sorry, I haven't posted. Been in a funk- icky weather and post op recovery- NOT a good combination! I think all the infection and swelling from the TT are on the run- still have to wear this #$%^* girdle, but it's really not too bad. I bought a pair of 14-16 pants this weekend (down from 4X) and I can wear size 18 top (down from 5X). I'm really pretty comfortable where I am- I think the surgeon woud like to see me down another 25 pounds, but I'm not in a hurry to get there.
We got an Australian Shepherd for Christmas, and he gets walked 3 times a day- if it's not icy, by me, if it's slick, by my hubby. Radar is a great addition to our family, and will be a good walking companion.
Goals:
1. Continue to watch the carbs- stick to whole grains and stay away from SUGAR!!!!!
2. Really increase the protein!
3. Walk at 3 miles this week and get back on track.
The first time we took the dog out into the snow was great! Almost like taking a toddler! I even made a snow angel! Too cold for that recently, though. I must have lost a lot of insulation- I get cold very easily!

MY main goal this week is to get MORE protein in! I think I have been getting maybe 50g in, and need to up that by 25-50g. I like the ARIA protein drink at walmart, and will utilize that while at work. (easy to mix into a carton of milk!)
I also need to go to the rec center and exercise MORE! My arms are finally shaping down a bit, and my stomach is not as big as it was, now I need to get in there and TONE TONE TONE!
ANYONE in carroll want to be an exercise buddy!? Lynda?? any interest, or know of anyone needing one??
I finally got my rings back from the jeweler! Thay look SO nice...and THEY FIT! Three more rings to resize and I will be set for a while. (I wear a lot of rings....)
I have a question, With Valentines Day being right around the corner, WHAT do those of you with husbands plan on getting them??
Have a great week!
Tracie
Goals this week:
1. Keep moving, I don't have time currently for formal exercise but take the stairs at least 12 times a day at work.
2. Supplements (doing better here)
3. Fluids (also going much better here)
4. Just say "NO" (a phrase that often pops out of my mouth is "no problem")
As for the snow... During the first storm I bundled up and me and my best friend (shawna my dog) went a rolling and romping in the snow. We had a blast!!! I didn't even get cold... oh but I did have 4 layers of clothes and insulated overalls on!!!He, He, He!

Goals:
