Is sudafed good for you after surgery? I would think it is. Besides drinking fluids, and rest, is there anything else I should be doing? Oh, and taking vitamins. Hoping to get rid of this cold FAST!!!! Take Care Lisa Young

I don't know about sudafed, but my surgeon gave me the OK tot ake liquid benedryl. Take plenty of vitamin c. and get in all your water. I personally also take echinachea to boost my immune system, but to be honest I have not taken it since I had surgery 5 weeks ago. But I have some in liquid form and do plan to start it up again. Get well, Jean

I am just recovering from a cold myself and I used Tylenol liquid "severe cold & flu" formula, both the daytime and nighttime liquids. They are awesome - if you combine them with plenty of fluids and REST REST REST. I'm kicking this cold in less than a week's time!
