Hi Everyone Has anyone else been having alot of pain lately with their fibro? Mine has been out of this world....I really think it's due to the damp weather. When we visited the south several years ago I didn't have any pain & NO headaches the whole time we were there. I had read on the main board a few weeks ago some gals are taking Ultracet, anyone heard of it or using it? Thinking of asking the doc for a script for it. The insomnia is getting a bit better, at least I'm not up at 1-2 a.m. the past few days, sleeping in til at least 3-4 a.m. Thinking I broke the plateau the ugly thing! Another 3 lbs & I will weigh 180 & be at my weight of 1973 on graduation day! Dang whoever would have thought this many years later I would weigh that much?! Wish I would have kept my dress, the mini dress with saggy legs! Everyone have a good weekend. Hugs Carolyn

I am sorry to hear your fibro is acting up I hope you start to feel better.....Do you try any of those sleep aid teas to help you at night?? My hubby has problems sleeping sometimes and we just learned about a new sleep aid that is non-addictive....I will find the name and pass it on to you.....he has it written down somewhere! We miss you around here, where ya been hiding! I wish you the best of luck with that last 3 lbs....I am still hangin on tight.....my body seems to like it at this weight...I want 20 more off.....I might have to actually work at it now Take Care Jesi

I am picturing myself in a mini with the saggy legs/extra skin and man, if that isn't enough to scare myself silly!!! I'm sorry you are having problems with the fibro and insomnia. I don't have any helpful tips for you in that regard but if you are looking for something to do at 4 am, feel free to come over to my house and clean or any number of jobs to do!

Oh yes! My fibro and my sister's is really a pain right now! I am taking some meds for it, and also have had some injections, and am taking water and land therapy. The water therapy is great! Only down fall is I have to drive an hour each way 3 times a week to get it

My fibro has been about 1000% better since surgery. Most of my tender points are only mildly tender compared to "touch me there and you die" tender. Altho, this week I have been a little more stiff than I have been. I take trazadone and flexeril at bedtime and sleep like a log. I'm having less fatigue since they got my calcium, PTH, vit D problem straightened out. Thank goodness. But I am stuck at 96-97 pounds lost. My goal is in sight but just out of reach. Damn plateau. My surgeon said that women plateau at about 100 pounds. Dang, he's right. So I'm trying to get back to the basics and eliminating some of the carbs. The needle is going to move!

I have fibromyalgia and recently had all of my silver dental fillings removed...it has been a huge answer to prayer! I have decreased my symptoms by about 90%. I don't have the burn in my legs anymore...I sleep better and feel like I'm going to live! Most of the time I don't have to take any pain meds ~ on rough days I take Tylenol-Arthritis & Aleve. My tender points are not swollen or even painful to touch...imagine that! I wish you all the best in your journey ~ Sharen
