Sad, beware...
My himalayan cat, Fluffy died yesterday.
She was a very young cat. We thought my lab had been playing too rough with her because she was limping, took her to the vet..nothing broke. we isolated her in a kennel to keep an eye on her,(vet recommendation) and the next day she was purring and meowing at me when I went to work. When my hubby got home, about 1.5 hours after I left, she was barely breathing, and was dead with in minutes. I came home to see if he was home,,, to have him take her to the vet for more tests, and she was dead...stiff already. I was bawling, he was bawling...it was awful. In talking to the woman we got her from, the WHOLE freaking litter has passed in the same manner! They must have been born with some kind of infection that took a while to show up. The vet recommended I revaccinate my other 2, but I have a sneaking suspicion the one has somethign...she's not feeling too good. Gawd, I cannot handle another death! Fluffy was only 4 months old. My others are about 7 months. If this one is still failing tomorrow, back to the vet I go...
Wish me luck, and those of you who do, please pray for fluffy. Thanks.
