Has anyone here had the DS? Or are you all RNYers? I know there are no surgeons in IA who do the DS, but that's the surgery I want and wanted some local support!! Rhonda

I myself had lap RNY Dec 03 and I am very pleased with my outcome! But the point of these boards is to offer support for anything really!!! It is a great journey that is for sure!!! Have you found a surgeon yet? I wish you luck in your journey and hope to see you on the Iowa boards more~Take Care

Welcome, Rhonda and ditto what Jesi said. I had open RNY 12/8/03 and have enjoyed the journey. I don't know anything about DS, but am here for support. Good luck in your efforts. God bless, Andrea
