Recommendations for plastic surgeons...
Dr. Bastung has a web site, but can't remember the name of it. You might call and ask them for it. He showed pictures of different type and size of people with before and after procedures. It gave me an idea of how I "could" look after a belt lipectomy. However, I'm a big chicken and also could not afford it. It's supposed to be painful!!! and would probably cost me about $6000 - he said insurance rarely pays for anything other than a panniculectomy.
He was also very forthright about complications and seroma's and things of that nature.
I think I'll keep my wrinkles and sag for a while.
Good luck to you!!!

Dr. VanderZee did my arms 18 months ago and got them covered by insurance which is almost unhear of. We just submitted my tummy tuck to insurance with this week. He's very nice and does a wonderful job. I went to Dr. Grado for my arms intially and did not feel comfortable with him. I have also seen Dr. Cram in Iowa City/Coralville and if I could afford to self pay he is who I would go to. But he's not in my insurance network.
Good Luck!
