Hi I have a friend who had a baby December 10, her husband left for Iraq. She had a big grease fire. (She lives in Washington state). She was asking me how does she the smoke smell out of clothes. The fire damaged the kitchen only, but there is smoke everywhere. Any ideas would be helpful. She also has a 2 year old. Thanks Have a safe week. Take Care Lisa Young

Hey Lisa This may sound funky but washing a load of laundry in tomato juice might help take out some of that fire odor. It's really hard to get that smell out and to get it out of the house [which she should because it could be harmful for her children] a damage repair company would be best. They can steam clean everything and fix it right up [that's really a job she would have to pay for... or insurance will cover it] but tomato juice in the laundry water might work on clothes! Best of luck to her xo

I really have NO clue........Never had to deal with that, but I use lesteroil on a lot of stuff.......It is in the cleaning aisle and it works amazing on stains and other stuff.......BUT it has a HARSE smell.....a really strong pine-sol sent sorta......so when my hubbys clothes are nasty and greasy I throw some of the lestroil into the washing machine......not only do they come clean, but the don't smell like gas or grease.......Lestroil is really cheap......like 2 bucks for a bottle of the stuff and you don't have to use much.......wouldn't hurt to try anyways!!! Take Care and wish her luck.....Thank goodness they weren't hurt!!! Jesi
