surgery date!
J Renee:
Congratulations on your surgery date!! Now's a good time to start drinking your water, taking supplements, and protein!! Also, start walking as much as you're able, or some form of exercise. You will benefit from all the above, and it will help you start making those changes now!! You are starting the most exciting leg of your journey!! Best of luck to you, as you get closer to the big day!!! Keep us posted!! DeeAnn R.
J Renee,
Congrats on your surgery date and yes this is a new life we are given. This month will go by fast but you will think it is standing still. If you ask most of us we are so glad we had this surgery. some of us took longer for us to be thankful. if you have any questions feel free to ask we all are here for you. good luck on the 3rd.....Lynda
Congratulations Renee! And you thought your emotions were
mixed before. Don't worry it gets worse, but your journey has
begun.
Before you know it you'll be over here with all of us losers.
I feel kind of sentemental becuase I had my surgery a year
ago Feb. 3. Boy is my life different now. It has gotten so
much better. Keep us posted on your progress.
Peace,
Eileen
Congrats on your date. Don't be nervous . . . this is one exciting adventure. I'm still finding bones I never knew I had. You are going to feel so wonderful & look it too I might add. I've been out shoveling every day and I told my dbf it's just because I can!!!!
If you don't mind, I might stop to see you the day after your surgery. You probably won't feel so great the 1st nite. Although I hear now if it will work for you they're giving a wonderful shot that takes care of all your pain for the 1st 24 hrs.
Keep in touch & Congrats again.
Janie
I just wanted to say congratulations. I just finished posting a reply to one of your previous messages. I have my follow up visit with Angie that day and was wondering if you would want a visitor that night. From experience, you will be feeling better the first night than you will the second night. I had a spinal injection before surgery and it made the pain go away for 24 hours. The second night was more uncomfortable than the first.
We have support group tomorrow night with Dr. Gs staff. Look me up. My name is Mary and I will be with Jane. We usually get there very early to talk to everyone that is there. Hope to see you there.
Again, Congratulations.
