Scale says as of today I weigh 200 lbs which is my goal. Wahoooooooo!! I had surgery on 4/21/04 at 405 lbs. Worked my butt off but it has paid in the end. Just wanted to share the exciting news. For anyone who is stuggling, just keep plugging away.

That is amazing. Congratulations to you. You had to have really worked awfully hard at that. You should be yelling from the rooftops. What an isnpiration you are. I too would like to know your eating regime. I hope to have this surgery this year and if all goes well I would like to follow your eating and exercise plan.

Some have asked how I lost my weight. I ate twice a day (worked up to 4 oz per meal, mostly protien and veggies), two protien shakes a day (Labrada proplete gold double chocolate). I probably should have eaten more but I was just never hungry. The big thing is I exercised 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hrs a day every day. Walking, biking, nordic track, anything areobic. Some light weight training for toning. Now I run 2 mi a day and lift weights 5 days a week. I eat three times a day still at 4oz and the 2 shakes. Long, hard road but it is so worth it in the end. Hope this helps. Randy Life Rocks, Live It!
