WAY TO GO HAWKEYES!!!

What a game Had to call Janet right after I called my son. Think you could hear all of us yelling on the other side of the state!!!!! What a way to start the New Year.. Weather is horrible over here solid ice, it's suppose to be bad next several days. Staying home & staying safe here. Hope everyone had a good New Years Eve. We ended up having our Xmas yesterday as we heard the weather was going to be bad. Had a great time, love watching the kids open their presents. Ok, done boring everyone. Hugs Carolyn

Yes, what a game! I didn't think they would win, but I guess I was wrong. Way to go!!!! I didn't do anything for New Year's. I slept through it. Then, thought about going to get gas and go over to my grandpa, to watch the parade, well, I fell on the ice. So I decided I'm not going anywhere. I stayed put all day, watching the COPS marathon and watching the parade this morning. Not sure if I'll be going to church tomorrow. I don't like this ice crap. At least it's not snow. The last few seconds I say where is Brad Banks THEN the BIG TOUCHDOWN I couldn't believe it. I was hoopin & hollerin like crazy called my son (he lives next door) & was still crazy. He says did you hear me yellin & said that was my question to you!!! I love a good game but whew that was just to close. Wish I could be the welcoming home party for them. Hope you are ok after your spill. I have stayed in all day from the looks of things I wouldn't venture out. I was going to go to son's to watch the game but thought better of it. I watched about half the game and even the first half was pretty good, I am bummed it got better and I missed it! I am glad they won tho I didn't do anything for New Years Eve either! Didn't do much of anything today either! I am kinda in a funk......gyno doc says it is because of Hysterectomy and I will probably feel pretty ****ty the first year, but I think it is depression again~I have been on meds since 14ish maybe.....but was able to go off of them this summer because I was doing great! Now I am not doing so hot I have an appt Monday, so just waiting for relief! The gyno doc gave me xanax to take the edge off, but it is NOT helping! I feel bad for my family, I am awful mean to them! If I could sleep till Monday I would, but can't! I haven't been around much, but just been herre this little bit is helping me release some tension......hope you don't mind that I vented Couldn't help myself! Have a good evening Jesi

(((((((HUGS))))))) Jesi.. Wonder why they say you'll feel this way for a year?? Doesn't make much sense to me. But some doc's don't make sense anyway. I was put on anti depressant for my hot flashes & amazing enough it is working. Can't take hormones due to heart attack. Sorry to hear you are feeling so down. Maybe they need to switch meds or up them? Something has to give. This could also have something to do with your age. Vent away my dear anytime you feel the need. Sending big hugs your way. Carolyn

OMG WHAT A GAME!!!! I think I peed my pants lol! 2 of my sisters were there and made the local tv during pre-game what a hoot. My hubby and I and 2 other couples went out on New Years Eve....went out to dinner than went dancing all night, we had a great time...I don't think Jodie or I left the dance floor all night! I hate this weather, isn't fit for anyone to be out driving let alone walking! Not looking forward to driving the 8 miles to work everyday this wk. UGH! Jesi I love your new pic...gf your gorgeous! Hang in there, hopefully your Dr. will get you back on track. My doc just recently put me on an anti-depressant, never been on any before now but knew it was time, Iam also seeing a therapist....just need to know whether Im crazy or not??? Just know that we love ya and are here for ya! Janet S
