Sad news
My MIL passed away suddenly this week. They think it happened Monday but no one found her until Wed. She was sitting at her kitchen table just like she was asleep, so hopefully, it was peaceful. The funeral is Monday because of the holiday.
To make matters worse, I had the cold from hell. I haven't had a cold for 5 years so I've forgotten how miserable it is. I went thru a whole box of tissue yesterday. UGH. Sore throat, cough, plugged up head. The whole ball of wax. I guess the good news in all this is that my wt loss has started again, finally. I'm down 3 pounds since Tuesday.
Lyn.. I am soo sorry to hear of your news.
That would be very hard to deal with knowing she was probably sitting there for a while, but yes, I am sure it was peaceful if she was sitting at the table.
I have also found that colds/flu seems a lot worse now after the weight loss too, lol. seems to take a lot more out of me anyhow. But, take lots of vitamin C and drink juice and rest and you should be back up in no time.
Please know we are all thinking of you thru this time and on Monday for the funeral.

Lyn & family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Will keep you in my thoughts & prayers. I found my grandpa after he had passed, he sat on the bed & had a heart attack that thankfully took him right away.
For your cold try the diabetic Tussin. It really works wonders & that is something we can take.
Keep you in my thoughts & prayers & sending hugs to you & your family.
Carolyn
Lyn,
I'm so sorry about your loss. I pray that she is rejoicing with Jesus now!
I also have a funeral on Monday. A young man whose family used to attend our church passed Wednesday night. They think he had a seizure and fell and had head trauma. I feel so bad for that family! My heart goes out to you and your hubby as well. Please know my prayers are with you both.
Good luck getting over the cold. I have been on an antibiotic for over a week for a sinus infection that started as the sore throat, congested head and ears, etc. and still feel drained and am still coughing. I use plain old sudafed (generic, of course) or generic tylonol cold meds.
Hope you feel better soon.
God bless,
Andrea
Lyn,
I am so sorry for your family's loss...as you probably already know, I lost my Mom on 12/04/04, and the pain and grief will definitely take a while to work through.
Please give your husband a (((Hug))) from me...I feel blessed to have been able to be there and hold her face in my hands while she passed.
(((Hugs)))
~~Sherry
