Surgery tomorrow

Hi! I just wanted to say Hi to everyone and tell you how thankful I am to have you guys around to hear all of your stories and experiences with WLS. I'm having surgery tomorrow in Iowa City. I was nervous this weekend, but I got everything as caught up as possible at work today, and tonight I'm getting bills paid up, cleaning, and packing. It almost like I'm getting ready for vacation! My fiance has the day off tomorrow to be with me, and he'll rearrange his work schedule to see me as much as he can while I'm in the hospital. My mom was able to use FMLA to get the weekdays off this week and next. I'm surprised they let her do that since I'm over 18 and no longer live at home. She visited yesterday for Christmas and was already driving me crazy about the surgery asking 6 times if I had this or that ready to go. Like I said, I'm getting more excited than nervous, but I'm sure that will change the closer I get to the hospital tomorrow morning. Wish me luck, and I'll keep you guys posted when I can! molly *I'm sorry didn't get a chance to meet you before my surgery, Jesi, but maybe we can ride down to the next Davenport support group meeting if I can (not sure when it is). Judi: How did your surgery go? Which surgeon did you have? I'm definitely wanting to get abdominal work done, and would also like thighs. I'm not real hopeful about insurance coverage. When did you discover your hernia? Where you having problems from it? How do you feel this surgery compares to your RNY? I hope you have a speedy recovery!!
