Hi everyone, So very sorry it's been so long. Hubby lost his father just before Thanksgiving and so it's been a LONG holiday haul. Between that, finals, work, and kids it's been so crazy. I am greatful for my new-found health though. I could have never held up to all of this 2 years ago. I'm doing well. I slip from time to time which is why I'm not losing anymore weight I'm sure. My aunt plateaued around this time though, so I'm going to STEP UP TO THE PLATE and take some serious responsibility for everthing that goes into my BIG MOUTH beginning NOW. Christmas and Thanksgivng are over so there is NO EXCUSE! My only current problem is my hernia. It's about 4 inches above my belly button and it makes me look VERY PREGNANT! It's so frustrating, but I need to work longer to earn enough time to take off, especially because I want my TT along with it. I'm SO ready for that! I think and wonder about you all quite often. How are you guys? I have missed catching up. My own fault I know, I am making a "GOAL" of trying to get here MORE. Support is especially helpful here and I need that now, I MUST get back on track! Well, give me a shout everyone. Let me know how you are; how far from goal, and all that good jazz! Oh yeah, and I "MIGHT" have an updated pic on my profile (if it worked). So, check it out and let me know. That is my, my hubby, and my 2 kiddies Christmas Eve. Take care everyone! xxxooo Tammy

Hello I had my surgery December 22, 2003 and I'm at 50 pounds till I reach goal. For Christmas I got one of those Gazelles, (Hard to describe) exercise equipment, Dad and I are going to put it together this afternoon and try it out. Can't wait. I'm doing better. I think. Sorry to hear about your father-in-law. Take Care and Merry Christmas! Love Lisa Young

Sorry to hear about your FIL. It's especially hard at the holiday season. I hear you about getting back on track. I've been derailed. Tomorrow I'm back to the basics. I'm still losing, but only about 1/2-1 pound a week. At that rate, I'll never get to goal! I've lost 94 pounds, 26 to goal. I've gone from a 24-26 to 12-14.

Hi Tammy - how are you, girlie?? Look at you, you get all graduated and skinny on us and then bail! LOL Glad that you stopped in to say hello. Sorry about your loss. What a traumatic time of year to lose someone. A friend from church just lost her 14 year old nephew Wednesday night. He had a seizure in the middle of the night and must of hit his head and passed away. I cannot imagine!!! How is the job going? Hope that all is well. Work here keeps me busy - as well as family stuff and house stuff. The day after Christmas, we began to gut our kitchen. We went through plaster, dry wall, wooden slats and brick (that they put in a hundred years ago as insulation). It was a huge feat, but with my hubby, older son and myself, we tore down walls, ceiling and flooring. It was gross and took almost all week, but now we can rest until Monday when the contractor comes in. I can't wait for the kitchen to be done. Until then, I cook in the bathroom with the micro, crock pot, toaster oven and coleman stove. AHHHHHHHHHHHH I hope that I can survive the stress of this all!!! Weight loss has been pretty stagnant also. I lost only 8.5 pounds from September to December (my annual appointment). I attribute that to all of the working out that I do. I hit the gym anywhere from 3-6 times a week and push pretty hard. I have built some awesome muscle and am really proud of that! At my annual exam, the print out from the fancy scales showed that my lean muscle weight had increased and my fat content had decreased. That makes it okay for me. HOWEVER, I still struggle with the food demons on a daily basis and snack and lose control at times. I thought that by now, that habit would be a bad memory! Oh well, I will keep fighting for the rest of my healthy life!! Enough about me. Thanks for checking in with us and letting us know that you are still around. God bless and happy New Year, Andrea
