holiday blahs??

anyone else have them? I just feel overwhelmed this year! Food was such a BIG part of my holiday life, now it is SO much smaller. I mean I can have about anything, and admit, I have, in moderation, but you know, it just isn't the same. (well, thank G it isn't!). Would anyone in the NW, W or even Central IA area...like within 1.5 hours from Carroll,...care to get together sometime? I really need a wake up call. Sometimes talking to each other can help. I met with Dawn from the fort dodge area a few weeks ago, and that was really theraputic...for me anyway...THANKS dawn!! If no one minds, either, I am thinking of making a monthly letter and sending it out to our Christmas list. Anyone who would like to add anything, let me know, I would gladly. Sometimes it is nice to get reall mail encouragement on our journey. If you do not want to be on this list, PLEASE let me know!!!! and hey, guess what? I have a LAP again!! wow! now I have baby fever, too, since I have a lap to hold one on, I think I need one, or 3...lol...can I buy one at wal mart? ...we haven't been having much luck yet getting one of our own... hopefully SOON...please keep your fingers crossed for us!! I don't have the blahs, but I am not so much in the mood! I think there should be snow for x-mas, so it is hard to get jolly when I know we won't be having a white x-mas Oh well.......Plus Dec-Jan are always tight money months with all the extra spending going on, and I am a worrier by nature, so I stress over that stuff.....My hubbys bday was last week, so had to by him stuff, and since it is his bday month it is also car registration month, and that is killer......SO.....You catch my drift!
