food stuck?

I ate half an orange yesterday and must not have chewed 1 piece good enough and it is stuck I guess. It hurts at the top of my stomach, feels very full, hurts to drink water. I have never had anything stuck for almost 24 hrs. or could it be something else? My surgeon is on vacation of course.Any suggestions?

Colleen: Is there someone else in the practice? If not, who is covering his call? I would think that someone would have to be on call. Can you call the office and see some one else? If it hurts to drink water, I think you need to at least talk to a Dr ! What about your family Dr? It would be better to see him or her, than not be seen at all!
