News on Jeri Hill!!!

Well, mom had her tummy tuck today at 11:00. They ended up NOT doing the belt, just the normal tuck, plus the hernia repair. Took 16 pounds of tissue, and repaired a 9 inch hernia extra tight . She looks great! Seems really sleepy, and is not in as much pain as last time. She was able to talk to us and keep her eyes open, so it's a good sign. Can't believe how great she looks. She worked really hard, and got the coolest christmas present I could ever hope for her to have. I'm very proud of her. Any way, she should be home hopefully sat., but i guess we'll just have to see! It's me again! Mom was bright eyed and bushy tailed this morning when we got there. They took one of her catheters out last night, and she was up and walking this afternoon! She's ALSO on a pure liquid diet, and she was just tickled pink to get tomato soup for dinner!!!! She looks amazing! She wanted me to thank all of you for your support and prayers, so thanks! Jaime
