Hi, Thought I'd share some info I learned yesterday from my urologist. I still hadn't passed the stone so they went in & removed it yesterday. He said WLS patients are a higher risk for getting kidney stones cuz of the high protein diet we're on. That the kidneys have a harder time processing all the protein and then it builds up as calcium deposits. He said when we pee it should be clear not yellow, if's yellow we're not drinking enough water. And people that drink tea & dark pop are at a higher risk also. I had never heard of this so I thought I'd share. Hope to never get it again.

Morning Colleen, Thanks for sharing the info with us. Wonder why tea would have that effect on us? I love my herbal tea as it's such a nice change from water. Will keep a closer look at the pee to be on the safe side. Sure hope you are feeling better. Hugs Carolyn
