Playing advocate for Lori A

As Janet posted Lori was denied. I drove over & met her the other day to lend support & told her I would be her advocate. One of the reasons for denial was she needed 6 month dr supervised diet. We made a list of her doc's & told her we need to get the past 5 yrs med records from them. Also letters supporting her need for surgery & for her to write one as well. She has tried various diets on her own & let her know she needs to put that in her letter as well. Statistics mean nothing to these ppl, they need facts about you as a person. If anyone can think of anything I may have left out please let me know. Please say an extra prayer for Lori & lend her support, email her & let her know you are thinking of her. I told her we are going to bulldoze her right into surgery! Thanks all Carolyn

Carolyn....I had told Lori to go to the main boards and ask for sample appeal letters......You know those folks on there have a lot of good ones....I see those kind of posts a lot where soemone asks for sample appeal letters and people who have gone through it or really good, email them out for you to use in helping draw up your own!
