I tried a recipe and substituted the sugar with splenda baking. I really had high hopes that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference but they did look kinda flat. Maybe I just have too high expectations wanting "perfection". lol I have tasted them yet since they are for company tomorrow but am a bit concerned that they might taste a bit "off". Each time my in-laws come over I'm trying a new recipe. I think they are getting to the point where they don't want to eat my cooking! lol Has anybody else tried this splenda mix and how has it turned out for you? How about just using the regular splenda? Do you think there is much difference? I checked the Splenda website and wasn't impressed with their recipes. I just like plain, simplistic recipes that don't call for anything out of the ordinary since I'm from a dinky little town. lol If I'm feeling really ambitious tomorrow I might try making cookies for christmas using the splenda mix. Wish me luck!

Hi Misty, I haven't tried the Splenda baking mix...I have only made SF peanut butter cookies with regular Splenda, which my family could not even tell that they were SF. I am assuming that you do not dump on sugar? Splenda baking mix is only 50% Spenda and the rest is regular sugar...just wanted to make sure that you knew that. Good luck with your experiments.
