Summer Get Together What do you think?

I have a question for all of you. At our summer get together how would you feel if there was a reporter & a photographer there from the DM Register? I have asked Andrea, the photographer, if she would be interested in taking pics of us. How about a reporter? I thought I would ask if the gal doing my story would be interested in reporting on us as kind of a follow-up story. Let me know how you feel about all of this. BTW how are the plans coming on finding us a place? Or do you need help on planning this? Since the OH Convention is July 9th in Denver can we keep that date off the get together calendar? Think it would be great fun if a bunch of us could go that way. Maybe if we get enough to go we could charter a bus. I have checked into those for our family reunions & they are actually kind of reasonable. There is a possibility they could start in Des Moines & work their way this way, probably Omaha area as it may be cheaper. I can start finding out details about this, it's just a thought to keep in mind. Carolyn

Hiya Carolyn...I think it would be great to have a reporter and photographer there with us! Oh heck all of Davenport got to see our butts LOL! Iam really looking forward to this, would love to go to Denver also but don't think I can afford it this yr. as I have graduation in May and heck for the next 2 yrs also lol. Love ya, Janet S

Okay, I'm pokey. I apologize. I have been so incedibly busy I just haven't had time to call anywhere. I promise I will, maybe even tomorrow. If anyone else in the DM area wants to check places out, I certainly won't be offended! I will call Adventureland Inn tomorrow. I promise.
